Top 10 Bullet Journal Instagram Accounts

The bullet journal community has grown substantially because of social media, with Instagram and Pinterest being some of the biggest hubs for journalers to share their content. In this blog post I'll list my favourite bullet journaling Instagram accounts that I've discovered in the past year or two. All of these accounts have massive followings and are a great place for any new journalers to gain inspiration from, as they are the best of the best! You can also follow along as I outline my favourites in my Instagram stories this week!

This has to be one of my all time favourite accounts. Federica has close to 100 posts, and over 22.8K followers. Her layouts are very minimalistic and the flowers and foliage that she draws overlap her pages and are an illustrators dream. She doesn't use too much colour in her layouts, which I personally like, but usually at least one part of the flowers and leafs that she draws has a faint pastel highlight. Most of the writing in her layouts is small and simple, making it easy to replicate in your own journal, since big hand lettering can often be quite daunting to someone that isn't very good at it. @feebjo also has an online store where you can buy clear stickers to use in your own journal that look exactly like the illustrations that she uses in her own journals. Overall, this is probably one of my favourite bujo accounts on Instagram and you should definitely give it a follow!

@journalbeanie has a gorgeous account with plenty of ideas for weekly layouts and incorporates washi tape, sticky notes and photos into her journals. She uses only a few pastel colours in her layouts which make her feed a lovely black and white wonderland that is made casual and bright with her use of bed sheets as the background for most of her photos. If you're into super bright and pretty photos popping up on your feed along with daily layout inspiration, you should give her a follow!

This account is a MUST for anyone interested in bullet journaling. It takes the best stuff from all around the internet and Instagram and shares it in one place. It's a fantastic way to keep up with your favourite journalers, trends and to find new people to follow. It's sort of like a massive Pinterest board!

This is another account that has nice comfy casual vibes, sort of similar to @journalbeanie. @studylustre rocks the flat lay game along with showcasing her minimalistic bujo and study note layouts. This is a great account for any students out there who love to keep neat and tidy notes. (I can't bring myself to do this, it's way too much work, so kudos to her!). So if you like bright and pretty flat lays that often include a hint of baby's breath or succulents this account is definitely for you!

Blush pinks and mountain illustrations. With 16.2K followers and over 250 posts, @blankaplans makes a simple and basic layout gorgeous with her variety of cute little mountain drawings throughout her journals. Her feed is super pretty and her journal entries are very easy to see, even in a small Instagram photo since her photos are so well framed. She is also from Germany, and I find it so cool to see what people on the other side of the world are doing in their journals!

This fellow Canadian bullet journaler has an awesome account! With over 275 posts and 113K followers, @focusign has a super fun account that has so much going on in the way of bullet journal and flat lay inspiration. Her photos have a ton going on, but in such a great way! Not only can you be inspired by the lay outs she creates, but by all the products that she uses to make them! If you're looking to have a really busy and colourful journal, and love purchasing things to make it even better, this account is a great follow!

This account is sort of a no-brainer if you're looking to get into the bullet journaling community. @bulletjounral is the account of the official creator of the bullet journal concept, Ryder Carroll. This feed features posts from all around the internet, much like @bulletjournalers and is a great place for any new bullet journaler to start their search for inspiration.

@bujostudy is another great account for students to follow since it features both bullet journal and study note layouts. With over 300 posts and 40.4K followers, this account is a pleasure to have on your feed. All of the photos are very simple and taken in a minimal style, which makes for a well organized and bright feed. I am super curious how she gets her photo backgrounds to be so white and flawless!

With just over 300 posts, and 52.1K followers, @lifebywhitney is a fantastic accounts to follow for all kinds of organizational inspiration. Not only does she create plenty of her own content, but she has a series called #featurefriday, where she posts content from other bullet journal Instagram accounts. Her various layouts, lists and and diagrams are fantastic inspo for the journaler who likes to try lots of different things!

If you like to keep your journal clean, free of colour and functional then this is the account for you! With over 200 posts, and 83K followers, @minimalistbujo takes the best of all the simple and productive layouts from online and brings them to one central hub! This is a really great account for beginners to follow because it can focus you in on the functional aspect of your journal before you start to go crazy with colour, illustrations and washi tape!
